Our team picks the winner (with a little help from Kimchi), and we'll share our favorite entries so the whole neighborhood can meet them!

Who's judging?
Kimchi may be our head judge, but the final call is made by people. The Doody Free team looks at every entry together and picks the photo we find the funniest or cutest. If you share a backstory, we read that too!
If they win, you win too!
After you enter, you'll get your own invite code to share. If someone who entered with your code wins the grand prize, you get one cycle (4 weeks) of Fresh Yard weekly, free ($160+ value).
P.S. There's no limit on invites. Text your code to your neighbors, your dog park friends, or your HOA group chat, as long as they live in Federal Way.

A walk through your yard
We walk the open areas of your yard, lawn and paths, and scoop the waste we find as we go.
Scooped straight into the bag

Who can enter?
Anyone 18 or older who lives in Federal Way, WA. You don't need to be a customer. No purchase is necessary, and buying a plan won't help you win. We never ask for card or payment details to enter. One entry per household. Doody Free employees and their households can't enter.
The prize is for a typical residential lot, up to a quarter acre. Lots larger than that get a custom quote and can't be entered this time.
What can I upload?
One pet photo per household, even if you have more than one dog. It can show one of your dogs or all of them together. Videos aren't accepted.
- It must be real and taken by you or someone in your household.
- No AI‑generated or AI‑edited photos, and no filters. Entries that break this rule are disqualified.
- JPG, PNG or HEIC, up to 25 MB.
You can also add an optional backyard photo. It only helps us plan your visits if you win: it's never judged, never posted, and never shared.
How is the winner picked?
This is a judged contest, not a random drawing. The Doody Free team reviews every eligible entry together and picks the one we find the funniest or cutest. Kimchi is our head judge in spirit, but people make the final call. We score each entry on:
- How funny or cute the photo is (80%)
- The backstory, if you share one (20%)
When does it end, and how will I know?
Entries close Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. We announce the winner publicly on Friday, October 2 and text and email every entrant that day.
What if I win?
The grand prize is one 4-week cycle of Spotless Yard (2 visits a week, 8 visits total) for a typical residential lot up to a quarter acre, for up to 4 dogs, plus a one-time professional bin wash. Retail value ranges from $480 (1 dog) up to a maximum of $552 (4 dogs).
You won't need to add a card or any payment details to start your free cycle. We'll reach out to set a start date within 30 days. If you didn't include a backyard photo, we'll ask for one before your first visit so we can confirm the lot size and plan the cleanup. The prize can't be exchanged for cash or transferred. If we can't reach the winner within 7 days, we pick the next entry.
How does "invite a neighbor" work?
After you enter, you'll get your own invite code to share. If someone who entered with your code wins the grand prize, you get one cycle (4 weeks) of Fresh Yard weekly, free ($160+ value). You need to have entered the giveaway yourself. There's no limit on how many people you invite, but they need to live in Federal Way to enter.
What do you do with my photo and my info?
By entering, you give Doody Free permission to use your pet photo on our website, our social media pages, and in our marketing and promotional materials, along with your first name and your dogs' names. We never share your last name, address, phone number, or email. Backyard photos are only used to plan service and are never posted or shared.
We'll text and email you about your entry, the results, and promotions and offers. Reply STOP to stop texts, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. We never sell your info, and our Privacy Policy explains the rest.
